Graham is a founding partner and Director at Columbia Environmental, a BC based consulting firm which began in 1999. As a Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio) with more than 30 years of experience, he brings a rare blend of environmental expertise, Indigenous relations, and community development leadership across BC, the NWT, and Yukon.
Graham’s role with Columbia spans the full spectrum of operations. He leads project development from the proposal stage through to the field execution, conducts site assessments, collects samples, mentors staff, and ensures the scientific integrity of every project. He also oversees reporting, budgeting, and client relations, ensuring the firm consistently delivers technical excellence and trusted reliability.
Graham founded Columbia in part to support First Nations Communities and Indigenous employment and to create meaningful pathways for staff growth through hands-on experience and training. His approach has always been community-centred, culturally specific, and designed to bridge employment and skills gaps. Over the years, many Columbia employees have been empowered to establish their own companies or continue impactful work in the environmental field within their own communities.
Outside of his professional work, Graham is a life-long leaner who enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and a rather new adventure of restoring classical cars.
